First triathlon (what made you decide to do it?): Cotswold Sprint Triathlon – really enjoyed watching a friend compete. The atmosphere was great, such a friendly event.

I have competed at county level in both cross country running and swimming. In cross country, I represented Gloucestershire in the Schools Inter-County Champs in 2005. I have previously been captain of my swimming club and I was a member of my school relay team that reached the final of the Bazuka National Swimming Champs in 2005.

I moved my focus onto Triathlon in my second year at Loughborough University and started training with the Loughborough Performance Squad. Since then I have really enjoyed learning about the sport and competing at a higher level. I have been part of the winning Loughborough Triathlon mixed team at the National Club Relays in 2010.
